The Champagne region is a very ancient province of France, located today within 45 min from Paris by train, TGV-East-European (Train à Grande Vitesse). The champagne wine takes the name from this province where it comes from. The surface of production covers 32 178 ha. Its consists of 319 villages or different vineyards, each one having its own characteristics. The patient research of the Champagne winegrowers gave birth to a development method of an effervescent wine considered by the specialists as being the best in the world.
