Just a 10 minute drive south of Reims, you?ll find the vineyard covered slopes of Montagne de Reims.
Once in the village of Ludes, you?re in the ?Grande Montagne? region, the kingdom of pinot noir, one of the three varieties of grapes used in Champagne.

The Grande Montagne de Reims region concentrates 10 of the Champagne region?s 17 villages viticoles champenois that are classified as Grands Crus.

Ludes is the head office of one of the Great Champagne Houses, Canard-Duchêne.
Between Ludes and Mailly-Champagne, the Pagès sculpture is a tribute to the philosopher Gaston Bachelard. The educational quarry of Mailly-Champagne remains a point of reference to observe and study local geology. The tours are organised by the Montagne de Reims Regional Nature Reserve.
