Located between the Eastern borders of France and Paris, the Champagne region was always a land of battles. The fate of France has several times been sealed there and its land still bears the stigma of the fights that it has endured, especially during the 20th century.

The quiet agricultural plain and the reliefs devoted to the production of champagne contain many remnants of the Second World War and especially the First World War, which raged for four years on the Champagne region.

Reims Tourist Office has designed two products to help you to discover most of these sites, which are scattered in a wide radius of 50 km around Reims.
