Spend an unforgettableweekend in Reims
It is not always easy to take the whole family on a weekend to the city. Visiting monuments or museums, dining in a restaurant with a local menu, walking for several hours ... We will not pretend: these are not the favourite activities of children and teenagers. So, to make your stay in Reims as interesting for you as for them, we have put together the perfect activities for your next family trip. You'll see, it is possible to combine cultural visits, wine tourism and fun activities!
Treasure hunts or discovery rallies are a great way to discover a city. Through questions, clues and riddles, you will discover Reims and its essential sites. Kids love them (and parents too).
Several professionals offer treasure hunts, a perfect independent activity:
- Curiocity by Cap Orientation. The booklet is available at the Tourism Office and can be booked online at a price of € 3 for children and € 5 for adults. More info
- Escapium Event with City in my bag. The VisitBox is designed for 2 to 4 people and is available for € 60. Its little bonus: lots of little surprises have been slipped inside to take home as mementos.
Awaken your archaeologist's soul
You want to visit the Champagne cellars but you believe that leaves out the children? Don't worry, we have just the cellar for you. In the little village of Fleury-la-Rivière, Champagne Legrand-Latour will reveal to you a place as unexpected as it is unusual: the Cave aux Coquillages. In its cellars, you will discover magnificent fossils of incredible quality and will be able to combine this atypical visit with a tasting of Champagne and the discovery of the estate and the vineyard. Young and old alike will emerge amazed. More info
Explore the vineyard with your family
To discover the vineyards with the children, there’s nothing better than an entertaining excursion through heart of grapevines. In Mutigny, the Wine Producer’s Trail offers a very pleasant walk through Premier Cru vineyards. The view from the trail is magnificent. Along the tour, you will discover the work in the vineyards, grapevine diseases, the chalky soil and different grape varieties through educational panels. More info
